Coaching for transformation starts with you. Where are you on the journey toward culturally responsive practices? To what extent have you consciously worked toward raising your own awareness of the impact of culture and identity on your interactions with others? What commitments are you prepared to make in order to model and even lead equitable practices? In order to effectively coach others with the goal of transformation, you must first transform yourself. If you’re relatively new to this work, this session is just right for you. As we connect virtually, participants will have the opportunity to read, write, reflect, and share ideas and experiences in both small and large groups throughout the day. There will be live, interactive sessions combined with individualized work time.
